It’s taken me what feels like a year but I’ve finally been able to upload the photos the photos from the Cenote Swimwear launch 2013 “Freedom Is…” that I attended on Sunday. (If anyone know why blogger has been so unreliable lately please enlighten me!)At the launch there was some major body envy, delectable macarons & a lot of bikini lusting. I’ve never really been a bikini person – I just don’t have the body for it – but I was definitely admiring the designs of the Cenote two pieces. Especially when a label uses girls with different body types, it really shows that anyone can look good in a bikini.
The most inspiring thing I found about this swimwear line is the story behind it. The local designers Rachael & Kelly had no previous background in fashion design & learnt to sew bikinis by chance during their trip through central & south America. They had worked out the secret to flattering bikinis for any body shape & decided to share it with the rest of Australia through their creative design & love for the ocean.
Both Rachael & Kelly are surfers so naturally these swimwear pieces are durable & are made to stay on during these types of water activities. All their bikinis are available in all colours for every style so you can mix & match to suit your tastes. You can view their full range here but I’m going to leave you with my favourite bottoms & top.
Have an awesome week!
