A tropical print top in a real-life tropical print setting.
Welcome to Lumphini Park.
I always complain that there aren’t enough places to create interesting outfit photos in Bangkok without dying (have you even lugged around shopping the size of a small horse in 30 degree celsius weather with 80% humidity?) but fortunately, we live a short stroll away from Lumphini Park. Which just so happens to provide a little getaway in the centre of the city while providing the perfect backdrop for this tropical print top.
Of course, it’s a mission to even walk around the park during such temperatures but the deliriousness of almost-heatstroke is nearly worth it to temporarily escape the madness of Bangkok’s perpetual rat race.
& when it’s really too hot to go outside, a breezy tropical print top is compensation enough for the mirages you will surely perceive if you forgot to drink enough water fill the Three Gorges Dam, like myself. It’s easy to become dehydrated here. Especially when you’re so caught up in shopping.
Culottes also make a welcome wardrobe item when travelling around Thailand. Just make sure they fit, otherwise you’ll be walking around with one hand holding your pants up the whole time.
Don’t forget to follow me on the links below. I’ve only got a week left but I’m determined to get a few more outfit posts done before leaving heading back to Australia.
