Dressing like a boy, as per usual. Street style in Sérieux streetwear.
& I wonder why my brother calls me a boy… With my hair getting the big chop & my outfit choices consisting of a brand whose name literally translates to the masculine adjective of serious, who can blame him? Thought this tee would make the perfect streetwear addition to the ever-expanding androgynous section of my wardrobe but found it folded into my boyfriend’s drawers instead. Well, if he’s stealing my Sérieux pieces, then all the more reason for me to raid his closet. I shouldn’t be so hard on him though, I mean, they are pretty damn cool pieces & it’s an Australian streetwear brand so I think I can make an exception. As long as he doesn’t start stealing the rest of my clothing…
Woke up early on last Saturday to head into the city to say goodbye to my long strands. I’ve been on the fence for years about getting the chop & after seeing my Instagram feed littered with dreamy photos of works by Harper Hair In Subiaco & my boyfriend telling me that “it’s going to grow back anyway”, I decided to bite the bullet & chop it all off. Of course, these photos are no testament to how amazing Harper Hair is – I’m sick & had to drag myself out of bed for these photos – & if you’re in Perth, I highly recommend them. Just check out their instagram for tonnes of photos of their work – dreamy, beachy waves & beautifully coloured hair.
Anyway, I’m about to jump right back into bed with my litre of Nudie extra pulp orange juice & an array of cold & flu medicines. Have an awesome week & hopefully another month won’t have passed next time I’m on here.
